Will it detect knives and other weapons?
A metal detector finds metal items such as knives and many weapons. It does not identify what an item is, so a guard follows up on every alarm. Items made of plastic or ceramic may not be detected.
Why does a gate sometimes alarm for no reason?
False alarms usually come from nearby metal structures, electrical interference or sensitivity set too high. Correct placement and adjustment on site reduce them.
How long does installation take?
